Top hats. Hustler hats. Wool felt hats. Fur hats. Leather hats. Suede hats. Cotton hats. Panama straw hats… Henri Henri has been selling hats from father to son to grandson since 1932, before baseball caps became men’s headgear of choice.
Between 1950 and 1970 when there were six NHL teams, Henri Henri rewarded players who had scored three goals or more in one game at the Montreal Forum with a free hat, which brought the “Hat Trick” expression into the world of hockey. The list of winners includes the legendary players such as Stan Mikita and Bobby Hull from Chicago Black Hawks, Maurice Richard and Elmer Lack from Montreal Canadiens, Norm Ulman from Detroit Red Wings, and many others.
